The Bannon Family grew up in Verona, NJ with teachers for parents. Education was the foundation of their household and many of them wouldn’t have been able to attend college had it not been for financial aid and scholarships.

Throughout his entire life, Tim made it very clear that being able to give his children the best education was extremely important. When he passed away & received all of the generous donations, his family along with the Shillelagh Club, knew this scholarship was the best place to invest the money. We are so proud to be able to honor Tim’s love for learning through this scholarship and hope to keep it going for many years to come.

{Tim} You are the best example we know of (to show our children) what it means to be a good husband, father, son, brother, & friend. Your loyalty is endless. And yet it’s your humility that makes people pause to admire all that you’ve done.”
— Lynn Bannon Cummings, sister.
